E.W. Wylie, a leading transportation and logistics provider with 85+ years in business, is seeking an operations professional to champion our drivers. You will oversee dispatch, coach drivers, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

This on-site, full-time role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and data-driven performance review. Salary is based on experience; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of professional communication experience.
• Preferred: Associate degree in business administration, management, or related field.
• Preferred: Management experience leading employees or large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and act as a servant leader to assigned drivers, ensuring they have information to be successful.
• Dispatch plan communication to drivers and monitor pickup/delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with drivers to ensure tools are available for success and professional growth.
• Ensure effective communication with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Analyze driver performance to identify improvement opportunities and coach through challenges.
• Review KPIs such as driver miles, pay, home time, and upcoming schedules.

In this crucial operations position, you'll serve as a champion for our drivers. You'll play a critical role in the successful dispatch and management of drivers. Your support will facilitate smooth, timely deliveries, and strong customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll lead drivers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that drivers have every opportunity to be successful. You'll communicate dispatch plans as well as coach and support drivers every step of the way. Your Responsibilities

• Driver Management // Lead, coach, and act as a servant leader to your assigned drivers, ensuring they have all the necessary information and opportunities to be successful.
• Dispatch and Communication // Communicate the dispatch plan to drivers and monitor performance regarding pickup and delivery timelines.
• Support Driver Success // Collaborate with drivers to ensure they have the tools at their disposal to be successful and develop as professional drivers.
• Internal Collaboration // Ensure effective communication with internal departments to ensure that all stakeholders are updated and working with current information.
• Monitor Performance // Understand, analyze, and review driver performance to identify opportunities for improvement and coach drivers through difficulties to success.
• Data Review // Review critical KPIs like driver miles, pay, home time, and upcoming schedules.

Your Skillset

• Effective Communication // Demonstrable experience in a position where your ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals across various mediums was critical to your success.
• Internal Collaboration // Proven experience in a position where you were responsible for internal collaboration across various departments, with many stakeholders.
• Time Management // Effective time management skills with the ability to manage your time in an environment with frequently shifting deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least one (1) year of experience in a position where your ability to succeed was contingent upon your ability to communicate professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field, and at least one (1) year of experience in dispatch, driver manager, or related position in the transportation industry.
• Management Experience // Previous experience managing employees and large teams is a plus.

Salary and Schedule

• Salary // Pay will be decided based on experience.
• Schedule // Full-Time; On-Site; Monday - Friday; 07:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
