Job summary

Cox Transportation Logistics LLC is seeking a detail-oriented logistics administrator to support warehousing and transportation operations. The role includes tracking driver hours, logging shipments, directing drivers, and coordinating deliveries.

You will interface with customers on service issues and assist with invoicing data in collaboration with accounts payable. Responsibilities also involve coordinating maintenance to keep equipment DOT-compliant and auditing transportation invoices

• Tracks and logs driver hours and logs to ensure compliance with DOT.
• Tracks location of equipment.
• Directs drivers and gives appropriate information with regard to deliveries.
• Interfaces with customers regarding service failures or OS&D.
• Assists as needed with developing invoicing data, and coordinates this information with accounts payable.
• Works with maintenance department to ensure equipment is operational within DOT guidelines.
• Responsible for Local and OTR scheduling within operations systems.
• Audits transportation invoices weekly.

Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, including material receipt, inspections, storage and shipping. Also includes implementing, coordinating and assisting in the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out a sequence of related warehousing functions and responsibilities. Duties require manual, clerical and data entry skills.
