Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Fleet Preventative Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable fleet operations by performing planned maintenance and inspections on a variety of vehicles and equipment. The role emphasizes independent work with a strong safety and customer-service focus across dispersed locations.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanic experience with knowledge of preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic equipment and repair best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• ASE certification and hydraulic equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance activities on fleet vehicles and equipment across assigned locations.
• Inspect, diagnose, clean, lubricate, and service equipment while identifying potential problems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work logs, inspections, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities and support fleet efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering parts and maintenance materials.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
