Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of mechanic experience with knowledge of preventative maintenance scheduling and fleet equipment service.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic equipment, mechanical systems, and repair best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to complete required background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance activities on fleet vehicles and equipment across locations.
• Inspect, diagnose, clean, lubricate, and service equipment while identifying concerns.
• Maintain maintenance records, work logs, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to schedule maintenance and support fleet operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering parts and materials.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide recommendations on preventative maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
