Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Fleet Support Technician to provide maintenance and repair solutions for our fleet drivers, operators, and suppliers. You will troubleshoot, coordinate repairs, and deliver exceptional technical support to ensure reliable operation of company-owned vehicles and equipment.

This in-office role requires 3+ years in fleet maintenance, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet management tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fleet maintenance or related heavy equipment repair.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn company systems and fleet management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers, operators, and suppliers with maintenance questions and technical support needs.
• Coordinate repair solutions, including locating service providers and arranging roadside assistance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle issues involving heavy-duty systems.
• Verify repair and maintenance work order pricing and authorize repair requests as needed.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance events and provide status updates during major repairs.
