Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance scheduling.
• Certification from a vocational school or trade school preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years journeyman mechanic experience.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background/MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate to schedule PM activities efficiently.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Operate and inspect machines or vehicles to diagnose defects.
• Assemble mechanical components per specifications.
• Design action plans for maintenance tasks and maintain logs.
• Monitor inventory and order parts as needed.
• Advise users on maintenance procedures.
• Work solo or in a team and comply with safety policies.
