Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of functions on fleet vehicles and equipment according to company policies, regulations, repair manuals, factory specifications, schematics, and personal knowledge.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
• Position available: Fleet Maintenance Technician Class A, B, or C.
• Position contingent upon candidate qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle by start date.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Successful completion of required tests before start date:

• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• Capability to operate and process work in a computerized maintenance management system.

Additional Requirements:

• Current Jacksonville Distribution associate preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Minimum two years of medium/heavy duty truck trade school or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of ARC, MIG, and GAS welding and cutting techniques.
• Basic welding skills for aluminum and steel.
• Mechanical and diagnostic knowledge of fleet equipment, circuits, and operational sequences.
• One year of medium/heavy duty truck trade school or equivalent experience.
