Wednesday - Saturday from 7:00am - 4:30pm (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business)

Compensation:

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $26.15- $32.69 with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $26.15- $39.23. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation, in accordance with applicable Company policies and law.

The Must-Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• 2+ year of related experience and/or training in a mechanical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
• Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving items up to 125 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• This position works outdoors in the elements; OnTrac provides PPE for all weather conditions
• The physical activity associated with this role is considered high
• You will regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging up to 125 pounds
• You will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel
• You may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear

• Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
• Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
• May be required to use personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the company.
• Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.

• You possess knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-phase electrical work.
• You must have a good driving record and be able to pass an MVR.
