Job summary

Republic Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under supervision. You will help keep the fleet on the road and support drivers with routine servicing using state-of-the-art equipment.

This role emphasizes basic knowledge of vehicle systems, adherence to standard procedures, and opportunities for training and career growth within a stable industry.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is preferred but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs.
• Performs oil changes, fluids replenishment, tire changes and basic electrical work.
• Completes company training programs and adheres to SOPs.
