Job summary

Medshore Ambulance Service seeks a skilled automotive mechanic to repair and maintain a fleet of emergency vehicles. You will perform diagnostics on brakes, electrical systems, powertrain, and climate control, and complete preventative maintenance per PM policies.

You must document services, work with the Maintenance Manager on suspected abuse, and be available to respond to road calls. A valid driver’s license and own tool set are required.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing automotive and mechanical equipment including gas and diesel engines.
• Ability to read charts, manuals, and diagrams.
• Must furnish own tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Availability 24 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain company vehicles.
• Complete preventive maintenance checks and services.
• Record all services accurately.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
• Alert Maintenance Manager to any suspected abuse.
