Job summary

Guardian Elite Medical Services seeks a Fleet Manager / Mechanic to lead maintenance for an ambulance and emergency-vehicle fleet. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with operations to ensure vehicles are available and safe for daily deployment.

You will establish maintenance schedules, track records, and work with outside vendors for complex repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification(s) preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing common automotive systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles including routine inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with Operations and outside vendors for complex repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records and schedules.
• Identify maintenance needs before failures occur and minimize downtime.
• Ensure vehicle readiness for daily deployment.
• Communicate vehicle status and repairs to management.
