Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Toledo, OH. You’ll perform maintenance and repair on Mobile Storage fleet equipment, including containers and office trailers, while maintaining safety and documentation standards. You will help keep yards organized and support CDL A drivers when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active state driver’s license with class designation.
• Related maintenance experience is a plus.
• Basic verbal and written skills.
• Construction knowledge and background helpful.
• Teamwork and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to utilize required information technology.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment and warranty processes.
• Accurately record time and material used for work orders.
• Lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of Mobile Storage fleet equipment per standards.
• Clean and maintain shop, yard, tools, and supplies per 5S guidelines.
• Travel to customer sites to set up office trailers as needed.
• Record time and materials for work orders accurately.
• Inspect inbound and outbound equipment following Rental Flow procedures.
• Operate forklift safely and assist CDL A Drivers as required.
