Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and fleet equipment. Under supervision, you will service chassis, engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems across our single fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles.

You will diagnose complex issues, complete company training programs, and help keep drivers on route. A CDL or ASE credentials are a plus, with growth opportunities within a stable,

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Ability to diagnose multi-system issues with strong technical proficiency.
ASE Heavy Truck Certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintains advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems for complex repair and maintenance.
Chassis component repair and maintenance.
Refuse bodies and related hydraulic and electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
Engine repair and diagnostics.
Diesel fuel systems and fuel system diagnostics.
