Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems.
• At least two years of vehicle/hydraulic maintenance or welding experience.
• Two years of supervisory or progressively responsible experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance team to ensure safety and productivity.
• Diagnoses mechanical issues and performs repairs on equipment.
• Trains employees in proper work methods and safety regulations.

Skills

Knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems

Engine diagnosis

Supervisory experience

Valid Class A or B CDL

Education

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Mechanic school certification

ASE certification
