Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the Division's maintenance staff and oversee fleet/equipment support, inspections, repairs, and disposal processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 15+ years of progressive hands-on fleet management experience preferred.
• Specialized understanding of maintenance procedures and regulatory knowledge (EPA, DOT, OSHA).
• Strong project management, resource planning, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex, dynamic situations with strategic and tactical priorities.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance staff, hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling and overtime approvals.
• Maintains preventive/corrective maintenance programs and standards for service excellence.
• Reviews status reports on road calls, breakdowns, parts inventory, repairs, and safety.
• Provides hands-on maintenance support as needed.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state programs and EPA/DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Manages fleet maintenance budgets and cost controls.
• Coordinates equipment movement between divisions and ensures readiness.
• Develops training sessions to improve fleet condition and driver knowledge.
• Monitors and reports on maintenance metrics and reliability.
