Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Ladson, SC to lead diesel technicians, keep morale high, and ensure quick, safe repairs. You will coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance, including preventive, mechanical and electrical work on tractors, trucks and trailers.

The role involves hiring, training and developing technicians to meet strong operational metrics. 3+ years fleet maintenance management or 3 years of team leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Tech School degree preferred.
• 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in a metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske’s assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
