Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a Supervisor RC Maintenance to coordinate, schedule, and audit maintenance for tractors, trucks, and trailers. You will lead a team of technicians, manage daily repairs, and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities include overseeing preventive maintenance, managing spare parts inventories, coordinating external contractors, and driving continuous improvement while aligning with company goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years of education beyond high school.
• 5–7 years of work experience in fleet maintenance or related field.
• ASE Certification preferred; DOT Brake and Annual Inspector Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Fleet Maintenance facilities are safe and clean.
• Manage vehicle maintenance in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Routinely communicate with Area/Region Manager about issues requiring attention.
• Develop and maintain a positive shop environment through effective supervision.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, vehicle repairs, and projects as directed by managers.
• Monitor parts inventory levels via quarterly audits and control maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety policies and proper operation of shop equipment.
• Lead and motivate a team to meet goals; coach and train staff.
• Implement continuous improvement while focusing on customers.
• Support Lead Technician; balance workloads across locations and cover vacations.
• Propose, review and manage equipment disposal.
