• Oversee repair work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Maintain and manage inventory of repair parts within budget.
• Maintain a PM schedule to maximize truck uptime.
• Manage work order process for accuracy and efficiency.

Role Summary: Rose Cartage Service is a 50-year-old, family-owned trucking company in Griffith, IN. We're looking for an experienced heavy-duty diesel mechanic/leader who is ready to step into a leadership role and help us build a shop that keeps our growing fleet safe, reliable and moving.

You’ll work directly with the CEO, lead our mechanics, oversee preventive maintenance and repairs, manage parts and workflow, and help improve the systems that keep our trucks on the road.

Primary duties of the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor:

• Providing solid leadership to and oversight of our team of mechanics
• Overseeing the process of servicing truck breakdowns in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Managing and ensuring an accurate and sufficient inventory of repair parts on budget
• Maintaining a PM Schedule that maximizes truck uptime
• Managing the work order process for accuracy and effectiveness
