Job summary

Town of Weston in Massachusetts seeks a DPW Supervisor Vehicle Maintenance to oversee the Vehicle Maintenance Division, supervise staff, manage schedules, and coordinate maintenance of town and school vehicles and equipment.

Ideal candidate has a high school diploma and technical training, 5-7 years of mechanics experience, MA CDL B with air brake endorsement, Hoist Engineers License (2A/4E/4G), and A/B operator certification. Overtime may be required for snow operations and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• Five to seven years of vehicle maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Licenses: MA Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, Hoist Engineers License Class 2A/4E/4G, and A/B Operator Certification for fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily division operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Develops daily work schedules and assigns staff and contractors; sets priorities.
• Maintains payroll, overtime and personnel records; coordinates with other Town departments.
