Job summary

TransForce is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance, service, and repair of shuttles, buses, and vans. You will supervise maintenance staff, handle advanced issues, and support safe, reliable fleet operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling shifts, budgeting, managing parts and supplies, and maintaining records; a clean MVR and DOT/FMCSA compliance are required. CDL-B with passenger endorsements is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable fleet maintenance supervision experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Preferred: Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign shifts, establish work priorities, and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Supervise and assist with repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles while enforcing safety practices.
• Manage and analyze fleet maintenance costs, prepare budget requests, monitor expenditures.
• Determine requirements for spare parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and fuel; research pricing and place orders.
• Establish performance standards, conduct staff meetings, and monitor progress.
• Address performance issues, provide training support, and review work of maintenance personnel.
• Prepare reports on equipment utilization and project status.
• Approve purchases of supplies and maintain accurate maintenance records.
