Job summary

MV Transportation seeks a seasoned Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a fixed route bus fleet. You will manage the maintenance budget, ensure contract compliance, and generate regular performance and financial reports for stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to supervise 10+ staff, and experience with audits, PM schedules, and various fuels. A CDL-B license is required or in scope.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years managing maintenance for a transit bus operation of similar size and scope.
• Experience supervising 10+ employees (fleet Technicians/Service Workers/Cleaners).
• CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement required.
• Strong budgeting and financial management for a fleet maintenance program.
• Proficiency with reports using PowerBI or similar tools is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance operations for fixed route bus fleet.
• Manage budget and financial performance of maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and audits.
• Prepare and present routine reports to clients and management.
