Job summary

The City of Fort Collins Fleet team seeks a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to manage a team of technicians at the 625-9th Street facility, ensuring equipment remains safe and reliable. The role requires 5+ years in automotive/heavy equipment technology and supervisory experience.

CDL and ASE certifications are valued; CDL training is provided within 6 months if needed. Key duties include forecasting maintenance, processing work orders, overseeing budgets, and coordinating with customers and other

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in automotive and heavy equipment technology.
• Supervisory experience in this field is a plus.
• ASE certifications in light and heavy-duty vehicles; Master ASE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shop workflow, scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Track work orders, vehicle maintenance reports and expenditures.
• Assist budget development and authorize expenditures.
• Provide guidance on City policies and safety regulations.
