Job summary

WM is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead daily shop operations and supervise technicians ensuring safe, efficient fleet maintenance and repairs. The role involves assigning work, coaching staff, managing parts inventory, and enforcing safety and company standards.

The position includes potential incentive pay and an expected base pay range of $85,000–$92,000, with benefits and site-specific offerings. Background in heavy equipment maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 years years of relevant work experience. (in addition to education requirements)
• Driver's License Valid Driver's License Upon Hire

• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.

PAY: The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $85,000 - $92,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
