Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the division's maintenance staff, ensuring vehicle reliability, safety, and cost-effective fleet performance. You will oversee preventive maintenance, data systems, and compliance programs while partnering with regional teams to optimize operations.

The role includes hiring, training, and coaching staff, evaluating performance, and coordinating with safety and operations to uphold standards. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Manages departmental hiring, training, coaching, performance management, scheduling of work assignments, and overtime authorization.
• Maintains an ongoing preventive/corrective maintenance program and sets the standard for service excellence.
• Reviews status reports including road calls, breakdowns, parts inventory, repairs, and safety performance.
• Provides hands-on maintenance assistance as needed.
• Education of driver responsibilities as it relates to DVIRs, operation of fleet vehicles, and basic CDL requirements.
• Ensures maintenance data is available for input in the vehicle maintenance system.
• Monitors fleet efficiency, inventory control, and performance metrics.
• Assists in purchasing of new vehicles, equipment, tools and containers.
• Establishes maintenance training sessions to improve fleet condition and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance team leadership, planning and scheduling.
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance across the division.
• Coordinate adherence to DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations and safety programs.
• Monitorvehicle maintenance data and reporting systems.
• Manage fleet cost controls and vendor/service evaluations.
• Ensure ready-lines and efficient vehicle utilization.
