You will oversee training, safety, and quality of service, while maintaining strong vendor and customer relations. A valid driver’s license and a toolbox with essential tools are required.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience in a large fleet, diesel, or trailer repair shop (3+ years preferred).
• Experience conducting employee reviews and performance feedback.
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, and transport refrigeration units.
• Experience with DOT & OSHA compliance and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication.
• Oversee technician training and performance reviews.
• Manage shop scheduling, workloads, and project coordination.
• Maintain safety programs and conduct inspections.
• Support hands-on shop work during peak times.
• Track department performance and drive efficiency improvements.
