Ryder System, Inc. in Davie, FL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Operations Manager and supervise a shift at the Davie shop.

You will manage technicians, plan and schedule work, monitor performance against safety, quality, and cost targets, and coordinate cross‑functional activities to meet service objectives. This salaried role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a bonus incentive, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred or 1-3+ years in a maintenance operations environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-3+ years in a maintenance operations environment.
• Maintenance and technical experience in a shop environment required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with a Shop Management System preferred.
• Microsoft Office intermediate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work analysis, planning and scheduling for technicians.
• Assign work to technicians and track productivity.
• Lead shift and shop meetings and RO review/approval.
• Ensure warranty policies are executed.
• Triage unscheduled drive-ins and communicate with customers.
• Back up others cross-functionally as needed.
• Manage customer relationships and vehicle uptime.
• Direct reports, training and development.
• Quality inspections and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop.
