XPO Logistics, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team across service centers.

This role manages hiring, scheduling, training, and development while ensuring safe, efficient vehicle readiness and compliance with DOT procedures. You will coordinate routine maintenance, monitor inventory, analyze parts usage, and drive productivity with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: ASE certifications and CDL.
• Willingness to work diverse shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and contingent workers: hiring, mentoring, scheduling, training and promotions.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and out-of-service equipment across service centers.
• Manage JSP shift bidding and ensure timely completion of all work orders.
• Track shop inventory, cycle counts and material movement within thresholds.
• Analyze parts usage, uptime trends, and maintain safety, quality and financial controls.
• Ensure DOT policies and standard work instructions are followed by staff.
