Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Shop Manager in Oklahoma to lead our fleet maintenance operations. You will manage the maintenance team, coordinate with service centers, and drive maintenance productivity while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on maintenance experience. You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance, manage inventory, and support continuous improvement through data on parts usage and uptime.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
• A valid driver's license.
• Current ASE certifications preferred.
• Current CDL preferred.
• Less-than-Truckload (LTL) experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work varied shifts incl. days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to organize and present information.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance team and contingent workers, including hiring, mentoring, scheduling, training and promotion recommendations.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and out-of-service equipment at service centers supported by the shop.
• Facilitate the Job Selection/Shift Bid (JSP) process for shop employees.
• Oversee routine maintenance to ensure proficiency and high productivity; close work orders accurately and on time.
• Manage shop inventory and cycle counts within thresholds.
• Analyze parts utilization trends to maximize efficiency and uptime.
• Monitor shop safety, service quality, efficiency and financial controls.
• Ensure DOT policies and standard work instructions are followed by shop employees.
