Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Manager in Topeka, KS. You will lead a team of technicians and oversee two shop operations, focusing on preventive maintenance for light to heavy-duty vehicles and related equipment.

Salary ranges with bonus incentives, full benefits, and training programs are offered. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in fleet maintenance or operations and 5–8 years of direct management, with DOT knowledge and strong leadership skills.

Formación

• Must have at least 2 years in fleet maintenance or operations and 5–8 years of direct management experience.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance is necessary.
• Must be able to travel and oversee multiple shop locations as assigned.
• Thorough knowledge of DOT rules and company policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Monitor performance and be accessible to all shop areas.
• Oversee multiple shop operations in Topeka & Lenexa, KS.
• Plan daily manpower to meet workload.
• Support operations with equipment-related issues.
• Identify cost-cutting opportunities and improve efficiencies.
• Handle payroll approvals, repair order maintenance and compliance tasks.
• Address corrective actions for direct reports.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment for facility and equipment.
• Communicate with clients to meet operations and company needs.
• Coordinate equipment sent to outside repair sources.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interview and hire for shop positions.
