Job summary

Sysco Kansas City, Inc. is seeking an Operations/ Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the shop, fleet repairs, and ensure safety and efficiency across maintenance activities.

You will supervise shop personnel, manage parts procurement, inventory, and cost control through maintenance systems. The role emphasizes budget oversight, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal policies while driving continuous improvement across the fleet maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license; defensive driving program required.
• CDL Class A preferred; various Sysco certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages fleet maintenance staff and safety of associates.
• Oversees budgeting for labor, parts, and supplies.
• Schedules maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles.
• Procures and manages parts and tools; oversees inventory.
• Ensures compliance with safety, OSHA, DOT and company programs.
• Reviews maintenance costs and implements efficiency improvements.
