Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries in Leesport, PA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee our fleet operations supporting manufacturing and distribution. This role drives reliability, safety, and efficiency across maintenance teams and processes.

You will lead up to 35 technicians, manage scheduling, and implement continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring VMRS standards and company policies are followed. This is an on-site role in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in vehicle maintenance.
Minimum 7 years of heavy vehicle shop maintenance experience.
Experience leading or supervising teams.
Experience with inventory and maintenance management systems.
Class A CDL and HVAC certification are required.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily maintenance shop operations including scheduling, workflow, priorities, and resource allocation.
Monitor and review all work orders for accuracy, appropriate parts usage, labor efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain VMRS compliance and company maintenance standards.
Manage inventory systems and optimize parts procurement to minimize downtime.
Coordinate on-road breakdown support to resolve issues quickly and cost-effectively.
Audit shop operations to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
