Qualifications

• Experience in transportation management, dispatching, or a similar leadership role in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS), and safety requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and industry tools.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide drivers.
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset for transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drivers and ensure safety, performance, and policy compliance.
• Incorporate DOT regulations and safety standards into daily operations.
• Track metrics such as on-time performance, fuel efficiency, and HOS.
• Maintain clear communications with drivers and explain policies.
• Resolve routing, load assignments, and equipment issues promptly.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure timely delivery, address customer concerns, and document actions.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching or corrective action as needed.
