GrayMar Environmental Services in New Jersey seeks a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across multiple locations, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

You will manage maintenance personnel, preventive programs, and vendor relationships, while monitoring metrics and budgeting to maximize uptime and minimize costs. A strong background in DOT-regulated fleets and fleet software is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive fleet maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership or management experience.
• Experience managing multiple locations and maintenance teams.
• Experience supporting DOT-regulated fleets.
• Experience with fleet maintenance software and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for all company-owned vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure fleet assets are maintained in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics including downtime, maintenance costs, and cost-per-mile.
• Partner with Operations leadership to ensure equipment availability meets business demands.
• Direct and oversee maintenance operations across company locations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with vendors.
