Job summary

Republic Services in Georgia is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technician team responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of our diesel and alternative fuel trucks and heavy equipment.

You will plan repairs, enforce safety and regulatory compliance, manage inventory and budget, and coach staff to deliver timely, high-quality service while controlling costs. This role requires ASE certifications and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in maintenance with heavy equipment.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in lead technician role or management.
• ASE certifications listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead technicians to perform safe, efficient repairs.
• Monitor performance and redirect activities as needed.
• Report on performance and suggest improvements.
• Conduct daily shop huddles and training for staff.
• Oversee inventory control and budget within approval levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety and federal/state regulations.
