Job summary

MV Transportation in Massachusetts seeks a Shop Foreman to lead vehicle maintenance operations across shifts, ensure preventative maintenance, and supervise technicians. You will collaborate with the Fleet Manager, manage the maintenance budget, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Experience with air conditioning systems, diesel transmissions, electrical diagnostics, and wheelchair lifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership to manage a maintenance team and prioritize work schedules.
• Experience tracking parts inventories, vendors and suppliers.
• Ability to manage financial/accounting aspects of fleet maintenance operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations across shift, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee maintenance and utility staff and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports; manage maintenance program budget.
• Coach and develop maintenance staff; collaborate with Fleet Manager for day-to-day operations.
