You will oversee daily maintenance operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure vehicle reliability, safety, and readiness to support demanding routes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines.
• Experience managing budgets, parts purchasing, inventory, and cost control.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, hazard identification, and corrective action.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Willingness to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisory personnel.
• Oversee daily shop operations, including preventive maintenance and fleet readiness.
• Manage maintenance budgets, purchasing, parts inventory, vendor coordination, and shop expenditures.
• Establish maintenance priorities, coordinate technician schedules, ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and OSHA compliance.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to minimize vehicle downtime and support daily service.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting across the team.
