Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in Brooklyn, NY, responsible for overseeing a team of technicians and ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing vehicle maintenance, knowledge of DOT rules, and skills in software used for fleet management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or foreman/team lead.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Advanced experience with fleet management and onboard computing software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians and welders to ensure maintenance work is completed.
• Conduct inspections and report on performance to improve processes.
• Manage administrative matters for the team, including payroll and records.
