Job summary

MOHR Talent in Springboro, OH is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Lead to run the truck garage in person. You will lead the maintenance team and prioritize work to keep the fleet ready and downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in diesel and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Supervisory or team lead experience in a garage.
• Ability to plan maintenance and manage downtime.
• Strong diagnostic and brake repair skills.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for CMVs.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred; safety certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and direct the garage maintenance team
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance and repair work to support fleet readiness and minimize downtime
• Oversee preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections for trucks, trailers, and related equipment
• Ensure service tickets and maintenance records are accurate, complete, and timely
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance team members
• Ensure compliance with company safety requirements and applicable DOT regulations
• Coordinate parts, materials, inventory, and outside vendors as needed
• Perform and oversee hands-on repairs, including diagnostics, brake and tire work, and engine troubleshooting
