Truck Garage / Fleet Maintenance
We’re partnering with a leading industrial services company that is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations for its truck garage in Middletown, Ohio.
This is a strong fit for a hands-on fleet maintenance leader with experience around diesel trucks, trailers, diagnostics, brakes, preventive maintenance, and shop leadership. The right person can lead the team, set priorities, keep repairs moving, and still jump in hands-on when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily maintenance operations for a busy truck garage
- Supervise mechanics and assign repair priorities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of trucks, trailers, roll-off trucks, and related equipment
- Support diagnostics, brake work, tire work, engine troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
- Ensure service tickets, repair records, and maintenance documentation are accurate
- Coordinate parts, inventory, outside vendors, and repair services
- Monitor equipment condition and identify safety or mechanical concerns
- Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and fleet maintenance standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe garage environment
What They’re Looking For
- Truck, diesel, automotive, or heavy-equipment maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory, lead mechanic, or shop leadership experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with brake repair and truck diagnostics
- Roll-off truck maintenance experience is a plus
- Familiarity with DOT requirements for commercial vehicles preferred
- Ability to lead a team, set priorities, and manage multiple repair needs
- Strong communication skills with mechanics, drivers, vendors, and management
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, or extra hours when needed
- EPA Universal Certification is a plus
