Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Concord, NC is seeking an Operations Associate to perform daily fueling, oil and fluid checks, tire pressure, and general equipment readiness.

You will assist the fleet shop, coordinate with night warehouse management, and help wash trailers; requires a high school diploma, 1–3 months related experience, and ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule.
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
