Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking an Operations associate responsible for fueling all equipment, checking fluids, and maintaining safety standards.

You will work with the fleet shop and night warehouse teams to prepare equipment, keep the yard orderly, and support trailers per FSQA schedules. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience; training will be provided on driving tractor-trailers and basic maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with both fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
