Job summary

Sysco in Fremont, CA is seeking an Operations associate responsible for checking oil, fluids, tire pressure and fueling all equipment. You will fuel daily, check fluid levels, assist the fleet shop, coordinate with night warehouse management, wash trailers, keep the yard clean, and support night truck spotters.

No heavy experience required; HS diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related training; basic math and reading skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with both fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
