Job summary

Sysco Memphis is seeking an Operations Associate responsible for fueling all delivery equipment, checking oil and fluid levels, and ensuring equipment is ready for daily use. You will work closely with fleet shop and night warehouse teams to maintain readiness.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. You must read and follow simple instructions, write basic notes, and have basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Aid Wash Bay Associate as needed.
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
