Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Fleet Crew Leader within the Property Management Department’s Fleet Division to oversee maintenance technicians across multiple city service centers. Lead safety-driven repairs and scheduling while ensuring high service standards.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma with automotive training, 4 years of repair experience, 1 year of lead responsibility, and a valid license; successful drug and physical screening is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with automotive/mechanical training.
• Four years of automotive/mechanical repair experience.
• One year of lead responsibility.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse workforce of maintenance technicians to meet performance goals.
• Establish safe and efficient methods of diagnosis and repair for all City equipment.
• Hands-on management of technician workflow and maintenance scheduling.
• Evaluate and diagnose repair issues and provide repair methods.
• Provide development and training for technicians.
• Ensure quality control on maintenance and repairs.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
