Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a dependable maintenance and repair technician to diagnose issues on Class 8 vehicle equipment and communicate repair details to the shop team.

Schedule service and repairs with the shop shift supervisor and monitor ETA for drivers and operations.

Maintain parts via local vendors and provide courteous customer service to drivers while promoting a culture of trust and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Class 8 vehicle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret driver issues and create descriptive repair information for repairing technician.
• Schedule service and repairs in the shop through consultation with the shift supervisor.
• Monitor and report estimated time of completion for driver and Operations.
• Create and update purchase orders for parts and units at local vendors.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service for our driver team members.
