Qualifications
- Enrolled in automotive or diesel tech program
- Interest in fleet or commercial vehicle maintenance
- Basic understanding of automotive systems
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work in a team
- Basic computer skills for maintenance docs
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must meet company and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance and routine services
- Support basic repairs under supervision
- Inspect brakes, tires, fluids and more
- Check fluids, replace filters, lubricate
- Identify and report defects
- Learn to use diagnostic equipment and shop tools
- Document completed work and maintain records
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
- Follow safety procedures and training
- Support parts inventory and maintenance tasks
