Job summary

WeDriveU seeks an on-site automotive/mechanic technician in Chicago to perform repair and maintenance tasks for our fleet. You will record time and materials for each assignment and assist senior technicians while maintaining safety and clean working conditions.

The role requires 1–3 years of truck or automotive repair experience, basic Class III hand tools, and familiarity with diesel/gasoline systems. Full-time schedule with competitive benefits is offered at our Chicago location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years truck or automotive repair experience.
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class III Mechanic.
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports unsafe practices.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or vehicle abuse.
