Job summary

WeDriveU, the leader in shared mobility solutions, is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Chicago to support fleet services. You will perform automotive repair and maintenance tasks, record time and materials, and help keep vehicles safe and operational.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of truck or automotive repair experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) with 4% match and ongoing development

Qualifications

• 1–3 years truck or automotive repair experience.
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class III Mechanic.
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with diesel and gasoline systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advices Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse.
