Job summary

MV Transportation in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide administrative support to the Maintenance Manager and General Manager. You will post parts to work orders, enter work orders, create purchase orders, and manage shipping/receiving and inventory duties.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, excellent organization, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a High School diploma, a clean driving record, and be capable of coordinating with vendors

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and reliable employment history.
• Proficient in MS Office and other required software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening as applicable.
• ASE certification for parts specialist (P1) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post parts to work orders and enter them in fleet maintenance software.
• Create and process purchase orders in the fleet maintenance system.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties for domestic and international orders.
• Identify part numbers and provide descriptions for supply needs.
• Monitor fuel readings and transmit to vendors and clients.
• Order parts for inventory and manage cores and cycle counts.
• Maintain organized files and submit reports on time.
• Support the Parts Manager with budgeting and department finances.
• Ensure parts system adherence to division and client standards.
