Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics or related field, or HS diploma with 1 year management experience.
• Willing to travel to account, customer, and company events.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.
• Willingness to regional relocate based on account assignment.
• Preferred: experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with drivers and carriers to ensure smooth setup.
• Fill in for absent staff and work on projects to optimize fleet operations.
• Train drivers and staff on internal and client systems.
• Improve fleet efficiency, monitor KPIs, and present reporting/financial analysis.
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment.
• Oversee payroll, budgets, driver counseling, invoicing, and reporting.
• Coordinate yard maintenance and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with drivers, customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain safety culture and DOT compliance.
• Plan loads, routes, and monitor freight movement to meet deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Transportation/Logistics, or related field

High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of management/transportation experience
